Fundación MAPFRE opens its call for applications for grants worth 300,000 euros in order to carry out research projects related to health and to insurance and social protection

Fundación MAPFRE has made a new call for applications for grants for a total of 300,000 euros, open to academic and professional researchers and research teams that wish to develop research programs independently or within the scope of the universities, hospitals, companies or research centers that they belong to.

The Foundation offers its Ignacio H. Larramendi research grants, awarded individually for a maximum of 30,000 euros, to promote projects related to health, such as obesity prevention, encouraging physical exercise, personal injury assessment, healthcare management and longevity, among others.
These grants are also open to researchers interested in promoting projects related to the challenges of insurance and social protection in the twenty-first century, who will receive a maximum of 15,000 euros per grant.
The scope of this call is worldwide and projects may be submitted in Spanish, English or Portuguese before 11 October, 2021.
