In 2016 Fundación MAPFRE will award 25 research grants to provide financial support to research projects in the following areas: Prevention and Road Safety, Health Promotion and Insurance and Social Protection. In addition, the Foundation will also offer a research grant intended to give financial support to a scientific project focused on care for the elderly.

The grants are open to any academic and professional researchers and research teams wishing to run research programs in the aforementioned areas, independently or as part of the universities, hospitals, companies or research centers to which they are adhered.
