Mobile application by MAPFRE Middlesea assists client during trips abroad

MAPFRE Middlesea has just launched a new application, iTravel. This new app will allow clients to buy  travel insurance on their mobile devices and  will also assist clients on their trips abroad when seeking assistance during emergencies.

The app will allow users to view all the available prices and description of products and purchase travel insurance products through the app, using an approved payment gateway.  Clients will also be able to submit a claim and upload photos which are relevant to that claim.  The policy holder will only upload initial information to notify about the claim and the company will then contact the individual to assist further.

 One of the features of the app will allow users to check out nearby hospitals and clinics when they are abroad.  The app will allow the user to communicate with MAPFRE Middlesea’s 24/7 contact centre via call, email or SMS and also a Call Me Back feature.
The app is compatible on all mobile devices and can be downloaded for free from the App Store and Google Play.
