In line with this, at MAPFRE, we assume a new commitment with diversity and equality by joining the Spanish Business Network for Diversity and Inclusion. This network’s main aim is to contribute to social normalisation and the elimination of sociocultural biases and prejudices pertaining to lesbianism, homosexuality, bisexuality, as well as transsexual and intersexual (LGBTI) people by raising awareness, providing education and advising other companies of LGBTI-friendly practices.
This new commitment of MAPFRE with the LGBTI community adds to the company’s adhesion to the Behavioural Rules of the United Nations’ Companies ever since 2020.
