Shareholder Benefits

Middlesea Insurance p.l.c. shareholders are given the opportunity to benefit from a Shareholders package which entitles them to save money on premiums by taking out two or more policies with Middlesea Insurance p.l.c.

Discounts
10% discount on the Home Insurance and Motor Insurance premiums when taking out both a Home Policy and a Motor Policy.

Special Discount for Senior Citizens
Discounted rates on the Home Insurance premium for policyholders over 61 years of age (holders of Kartanzjan).

Discount to Middlesea Insurance p.lc. Shareholders
The following table illustrates the discounts available depending on the number of shares and number of classes of insurance (Motor Insurance, Home Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance) held with Middlesea Insurance.

N.B. Only one discount (the higher) is applicable in respect of the above.

Furthermore, a shareholder is entitled to a 7.5% discount in respect of Health Insurance. If, however, the shareholder also has any two of either a Motor, Home or Personal Accident policy, then the discount provided on Health Insurance would be of 10% in the first year and 7.5% on renewal (maximum entry age for Health Insurance is 64 and subject to the Company’s underwriting criteria).

• Special discounts for Motor policyholders (in addition to the above)
• 10% discount for insured only driving (over 25 years of age and under 70 years of age)
• 7.5% discount for insured driver and any named driver (over 25 years of age and under 70 years of age)
• 10% discount for more than one vehicle
• 10 to 20% discount should you increase the compulsory excess
