Middlesea Insurance p.l.c. has launched its new range of Health Insurance Schemes. The new schemes are easier to understand, more flexible and offer potential customers a number of alternatives designed at various premium levels to suite all pockets.  

The New Middlesea Health Insurance Schemes are designed to meet customers’ individual needs.  These schemes provide three levels of cover, with the first two valid in Malta only. The third scheme provides cover on a worldwide basis except USA and Canada.  The schemes are: Basic Scheme, Hospital Scheme and International Scheme.

In order to make its schemes more accessible to a wider section of the public the Company is also introducing a number of cost-reducing options which allow premiums to be significantly reduced when the Basic Scheme (In-patient cover only) and Hospital Scheme (In-patient cover only) variations are chosen.

The Basic Scheme (In-patient cover only) and Hospital Scheme (In-patient cover only) variations provide full insurance protection for hospitalisation as an in-patient.  By opting not to be covered for out-patient treatment and consultations a person could still have the peace of mind that he/she is covered for expensive in-patient treatment costs.

Further flexibility is now being provided by allowing customers to introduce a voluntary excess of 10% or 20% to enjoy a further reduction in their premium.

Whichever scheme customers choose, they will have access to the best medical care at all times where it suits them most, whilst offering peace of mind for them and their loved ones.
