A group of Middlesea Group employees recently participated in corporate social responsibility (CSR) day held on Wednesday, 19^th March 2008. CSR day is organised by a committee made up various organisations and this year saw the participation of 350 employees from leading organisations which included Deloitte, Gasan Group of Companies, Mizzi Group, HSBC Malta, M. Demajo Group, Middlesea Group, Simonds Farsons Cisk plc and the Vodafone Malta Foundation.

The Middlesea Group employees spent the day whitewashing at St Joseph Home in Sta Venera. The employees were accompanied by senior management executives from the companies forming part of the Group, together with members of their respective families.

Speaking about their participation in CSR Day the Middlesea Group employees said: “Our participation forms part of our commitment to help create a better environment for members of our community who live in such homes. Our experience during CSR day was extremely rewarding. We hope that through our work we have contributed a little bit towards improving the quality of life of the home’s residents.”
