As part of its commitment to support philanthropic organisations, Mr Mario C. Grech, Chairman of the Middlesea Group recently presented Lm5,000 to the Community Chest Fund. The donation was presented to HE The President of Malta, Dr Edward Fenech Adami, during the annual Middlesea Group Christmas reception held on Thursday at Middlesea House, Floriana.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Mr Grech said: "The Community Chest Fund should be commended for its support of the local community and for its efforts to improve the wellbeing of society.”

The President thanked the Management and Board of Directors of the Middlesea Group for their support, which will help the Community Chest Fund to sustain its valuable work within the community.

During the Christmas reception, Mr Grech, on behalf of Middlesea Group, also presented donations to Caritas Malta, The Eden Foundation and id-Dar tal-Providenza.
